چکیده

Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) consisting of Vehicle Ad-hoc Networks (VANET) offers a major role in ensuring safer environment cities for drivers and pedestrians. VANET has been classified into two main parts which are to Infrastructure (V2I) along with (V2V) Communication System. This technology is still development not fully implemented worldwide. Currently, Dedicated Short Range (DSRC) commonly used module this system. paper focuses on both V2V V2I latest findings done by previous researcher describes the operation DSRC its architecture including SAE J2735, Basic Safety Message (BSM) different type Wireless Access Vehicular Environment (WAVE) being labeled as IEEE 802.11p. Interestingly, (i) significantly evolved from electronic toll collector application other applications such Emergency Electronics Brake Lights (EEBL), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Intersection Moving Assist (IMA), Left Turn (LTA) Do Not Pass (DNPW) (ii) operates at standards frequencies subject country regulations (e.g. ITS-G5A Europe (5.875–5.905 GHz), US (5.850–5.925 Japan (755.5–764.5 MHz) most countries (5.855–5.925 GHz)) where affected radius coverage.

Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication in a heterogeneous wireless network ¬タモ Performance evaluation ¬リニ

Connected Vehicle Technology (CVT) requires wireless data transmission between vehicles (V2V), and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I). Evaluating the performance of different network options for V2V and V2I communication that ensure optimal utilization of resources is a prerequisite when designing and developing robust wireless networks for CVT applications. Though dedicated short range communicat...

Vehicular Networking Pilot System for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure and Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications

Modern society is built on good roads and efficient transportation systems. Road safety has become the primary development issue within road infrastructures. Safety and mobility can, however, be jeopardized by poor highway design and construction or by operating procedures which allow unsafe driving conditions e.g. construction work zones, incident management or response to emergencies caused b...

Spatio-Temporal Motifs for Optimized Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Communications

Caching popular contents in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication networks is expected to play an important role in road traffic management, the realization of intelligent transportation systems (ITSs), and the delivery of multimedia content across vehicles. However, for effective caching, the network must dynamically choose the optimal set of cars that will cache popular content and dissemina...

IEEE 802.11p for Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Communications

This report focuses on the channel estimation problem in IEEE 802.11p based vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, which is very challenging in view of the extremely time-varying characteristics of mobile channels. Specifically, we propose a novel channel estimator named constructed data pilot (CDP) estimator for the current communication standards, by fully exploiting the channel correlation...
